2019 SCAD GENERATE: MICROSOFT MINECRAFT CHALLENGE 

COMPETITION

The Goal

The goal was to create a launch campaign within 24 hours for Minecraft Earth. Collaborating as a group of three, the challenge was to show how Minecraft Earth would make the world a better place.

Minecraft

Minecraft is a community where people can build anything they think of. It is a platform that shapes the minds of Minecraft's target audience, children ages 5-15, by expanding on skill sets like hand-eye coordination, problem-solving, and memory. Their most recent launch of Minecraft Earth will combine the real and the digital world through location-based entertainment and augmented reality via phones.

Through the use of festivals, Minecraft Earth can share cultures and bring awareness to social problems. Challenges and cultural creatures will inspire people to visit every festival and learn more about each country and how they can make the world a better place.
